Amyl and the Sniffers have shared new live videos for each of the three songs from their new EP ‘Live at The Croxton’. Watch clips from “Gacked on Anger”, “Shake Ya” and “Control” below:
The group had previously shared the video for ‘Control’ in March to announce the release of the EP. They have now shared clips for the other two songs. The EP was released yesterday (May 1) and is currently available as a limited edition 7 inch vinyl and digital album.
The videos and the EP that document their audio were recorded during a live performance at the Croxton Bandroom in Melbourne in August 2019. The jaw-dropping recordings are complemented by what the band called “various bullshit” in one Instagram post announcing the release.
Amyl and the Sniffers were recently forced to postpone their U.S. tour until October, although even those dates remain uncertain with current travel restrictions.
The band’s (almost) eponymous singer, Amy Taylor, performed on the Tropical Fuck Storm cover of The Saints’ “Perfect Day” last month. Taylor also took part in a bit weirder lockdown activities with a cooking tutorial for a “crapple pie” recipe for Love Magazine, as well as an Instagram interview with Jason Williamson of Sleaford Mods.
