Australian band Amyl & the Sniffers led by powerhouse Amy Taylor returns to North America. The Sniffers will perform at Primavera in Los Angeles this weekend, before hitting the road across the country for a few weeks. Their last run in the United States saw them perform at Coachella and Shaky Knees, as well as making their TV debut on Late Night With Seth Meyers.
To celebrate the start of the tour, Amyl & the Sniffers are sharing an amazing live video today. Featuring three tracks performed live at the Melbourne Forum, the video includes ‘Mutts’, ‘Capital’ and ‘Choices’. “I wanted this to be filmed so people could see what our live show was like during the touring period of ‘Comfort To Me’,” Amy Taylor said of the live video. “It was to be filmed by John Angus Stewart of SSP Movies because he is there to film from the beginning. He was in the studio with us shooting behind the scenes while we were recording the album, he directed all of our videos and shot our Live from Williamstown show, and finally those clips, shot in this iconic location in our hometown. John’s energy parallels mine, so I’m really happy to have him on stage with me. You get closer to them.
