Taking a walk down memory lane, Ayushmann shared a video of himself performing at one of his live concerts.
In the clip, Ayushmann sings Madhuri Dixit’s hit song “Khambe jaisi khadi hai” from his 1990 film “Dil”.
“I miss my concerts. It will happen soon. Very soon,” he captioned the post.
Ayushmann has captivated his fans with soulful songs such as “Paani Da Rang”, “Nazm Nazm”, “Saadi Galli Aaja”, “Mitti Di Khushboo” and “Chan Kitthan” over the years.
In fact, his love for music prompted him to start a band called Ayushmann Bhava a few years ago. On World Music Day 2022 on June 21, Ayushmann had revealed that people can expect some really great singles from him soon.
“Since I started making music, I have aspired to usher in a different sound for people. I have tried to be on this journey every time I have sung. I want my musical identity be effortless, new age, slightly quirky yet cool, melodious and always geared towards youth. Today I’m so excited to share that I’ve been working on some really great tracks that I can’t wait to share.” he shared.
He added, “Music has always been my best friend. I’ve always maintained that I’m happiest when I express myself through music and I can’t wait to talk to people and bare my heart and soul with these new tracks. The microphone has been my companion since my school days – it has accompanied me at every stage of my life. So, I’m really going to pour myself out this time with these new songs that are coming.”
Meanwhile, on the acting front, Ayushmann will next be seen in Anubhuti Kashyap’s Doctor G and filmmaker Aanand L. Rai’s Action Hero, directed by debutant Anirudh Iyer.
Speaking about his upcoming films, Ayushmann had earlier said, “I hope to have an incredibly exciting year in cinema because I have very diverse films coming out in 2022. ‘ordinary and I’m confident I’m bringing the best content I can find for audiences to watch and enjoy on the big screen. On ‘Doctor G’ and ‘Action Hero’, Ayushmann revealed that the former deals with a “subject that will make people think about an important social issue told in the most entertaining way.”
