BTS is back with three live concerts in Seoul in March 2022

After more than two years apart, the Bangtang Boys are back on the pitch and ready to entertain their fans around the world with their first in-person BTS concerts in Seoul from March 10 to 13, 2022.

BTS’s agency Big Hit Music confirmed the news on February 16 on global fan community platform Weverse and it immediately sent the internet into a frenzy.

About the BTS concert

BTS will hold three concerts titled “BTS Permission To Dance On Stage – Seoul” in their home country. The venue is Jamsil Olympic Stadium in southern Seoul, where they held their last concert – “BTS WORLD TOUR LOVE YOURSELF: SPEAK YOURSELF (THE FINAL)” in 2019.

Speaking to all fans, the company announced on Weverse, “We would like to thank all of ARMY for patiently waiting for an in-person concert to be held in Korea.”

The first and last show will be broadcast live for global audiences while the second will be made available for live viewing in cinemas around the world.

ARMY reactions

Needless to say, the announcement caused a huge outcry among global fans. Adorable Representative MC for Youth (ARMY), as BTS fans are known, couldn’t contain his excitement and took to Twitter to share his joy.

Instantly, “BTS is coming” started trending with wishes and love from ARMYs all over the world started pouring in. It’s obvious that hardcore fans can’t wait to see their idols in action after such a long gap.

Past BTS Concerts

BTS was forced to cancel their 2020 world tour due to the pandemic and they ended up doing a few live concerts online. It was going to be a big tour for them as it involved 40 shows.

Although live performances and concerts have remained fairly low-key in most countries, BTS held their first in-person performance in Los Angeles in November 2021.

The members

Recently, Kim Taehyung aka V tested positive for Covid-19 while Park Jimin who also tested positive underwent appendix surgery in January 2022.

The Grammy-nominated K-pop boy group features seven members – RM, Jin, SUGA, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook, who have taken the world by storm with their energetic music, in-sync dance moves, lyrics inspiring, their style, humanitarian causes and message for young people to believe in themselves.
