Various Facebook pages have witnessed a serious bug on the Facebook Meta where live videos disappear within minutes of being posted.
Speaking to the Chenab Times, Shravan Pandit, who leads Fire Media in Kishtwar, said a 15-minute live video disappeared from their Facebook page just after a few hours of posting on Tuesday evening. “Even today [Wednesday] the livestream disappeared without any notification,” he added.
Various journalists working with local news portals explained their similar experiences in Kishtwar.
The Chenab Times social media team also informed CT Desk that two live videos of CT Facebook the page disappeared on Wednesday morning. The livestream was simply about celebrating the accomplishments of police officials.
CT contacted the Meta Partnership Program agent and the Meta Support Pro team to discuss the issue, but there was no definitive solution at this time. “The team is looking into the issue and will get back to you soon with a solution,” she replied when last contacted.
