“Exosphere” was written in times of pandemic and is part of several songs to be released in the near future – it is also Gus’ first attempt to use a 7-string guitar in an official recording.

Gus says, “When the pandemic hit in early 2020, all of Firewind’s world tour plans were canceled. I found myself stuck at home for an entire year and not knowing what the future will bring. and before I knew it, I had already gathered enough material for a new album. With a new reality in front of me, I started to develop the new solo project and this time I decided to leave my guitar behind. to be the voice, instead of having a singer or special guests. It got me to create a bunch of new instrumental songs. “Exosphere” was one of the first ideas I came up with. I went through many different versions and arrangements before deciding on the last one. The latest addition to the song incorporated some lower riffs, after getting my hands on a 7-string guitar for the first time last summer. was to add new elements to my music while e n retaining the sound and style that I have been known for. I am really happy with the final results and hope you enjoy the new music. Stay tuned for more to come in the near future! “

Gus G. was and always will be the guarantor of an extraordinary playing, superb guitar riffs and melodies. The same goes for his brand new single “Exosphere” – once again, he proves exceptional skill without losing sight of and creates an inspiring world of sound with distinct power and unmatched finesse.

His criminal partners are again the talented Dennis Ward on bass guitar (who also handles mixing and mastering) and new drummer Vincent Velazco, who shows a distinguished sense of music and groove.
