Instagram may soon allow you to add moderators to live videos

At the start of last month, Instagram announced two new features for live creators: live programming and practice mode. The features aim to make life easier for creators on the platform by giving them the ability to schedule live broadcasts up to 90 days in advance and test their connection, lighting, etc., before starting a job. live event. While the Practice Mode feature has yet to roll out for users, Instagram has already started testing another new feature for Live creators.

According to the reverse engineering of the application Alexander Paluzzi, Instagram is currently working on a feature that will allow Live creators to add moderators to their feeds. As you can see in the attached screenshots, the feature will appear at the top of the live settings and allow you to easily add a moderator to help you manage comments during the live broadcast. You will be able to choose a moderator from the list of people watching the live broadcast. The feature will definitely prove to be beneficial for Instagram creators who have large audiences, as it will allow them to easily remove inappropriate comments from their live stream.

It should be noted that the “Add Moderator” option is still under development and it may take some time before it is rolled out to users. Since Instagram hasn’t shared any official information about this feature, we currently can’t tell if it will see the light of day or not. Either way, we’ll make sure to let you know as soon as we know more about the feature.
