PALM SPRINGS, CA – Bring your beach chairs and blankets and spend some time swinging in the past of downtown Palm Springs. A series of free tribute band concerts is coming to Palm Springs Downtown, thanks to the Palm Springs Chamber of Commerce.
The first concert will take place on Wednesday, February 2 at 7 p.m. The concert series will continue on the first Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m. at the park located at the intersection of Museum Drive and Belardo Road. The series runs until July.
Chamber of Commerce CEO Nona Watson noted the location in a recent statement.
“Our city now has the perfect outdoor venue to host a concert series like this,” Watson said, adding that all current COVID-19 safety protocols will be followed.
The February performance will be given by TLR – Experience the Eagles Music, an Eagles tribute band.
Other performances include tributes to Elton John, Madonna, Tina Turner, Fleetwood Mac and Creedence Clearwater Revival.
“Our goal is to bring visitors and residents from across the Coachella Valley to downtown Palm Springs mid-week to help boost our local bars, restaurants and retail businesses,” said said Watson.
The concert series is offered in partnership with James Elliott Entertainment, which books shows at several casinos and currently provides tribute bands for the Lake Arrowhead concert series.
