Metallica and the Coda Collection (via Amazon Prime Video) unveiled an extensive slate of live performances and documentary films that will be coming exclusively to the platform this spring. The partnership will bring seven titles to streaming for the very first time, establishing a career-spanning catalog of content that shines a light on Metallica’s four-decade history and allows fans to relive some of their most iconic performances to date. .
Kicking off today with the release of ‘Cunning Stunts’ and ‘Orgullo, Pasión, y Gloria: Tres Noches en la Ciudad de México’, The Coda Collection will soon release the highly anticipated anniversary concerts, ‘Metallica 40th Anniversary LIVE,” two of the separate concert films delivered with all-new edits and fully remixed audio on March 31 and April 7 respectively. The two-night special event celebrating 40 years of Metallica at San Francisco Chase Center sees the band in peak performance, with two unique setlists featuring live premieres and deep cuts that chronologically explore the band’s early era through present day on night one, then in reverse order on night two.
