After first directing BillboardIn the ranking of the best Facebook live videos last November, Ted Nugent returns to the top of the count for June 2020.
The chart, the latest of which recaps activity from June 2020, is a monthly snapshot of the broadest and most-reacted videos posted by musicians on Facebook Live, as tracked by media analytics firm Shareablee. The rankings are determined by a formula that mixes reactions, comments, shares and views from the first seven days.
Nugent’s latest #1 clip, which was uploaded on June 26, saw the rocker address a number of topics, including his Spirit Campfire podcast, the upcoming US presidential election and more.
The video drove all musician downloads on Facebook in three of the chart’s four metrics: first seven-day views (1.6 million views), shares (28,000) and reactions (86,000), according to Shareablee.
Nugent’s video is followed by Lamb of God’s June 22 upload featuring the metal band performing in quarantine while promoting a new album lamb of godwhich later debuted at No. 1 on BillboardThe 4th of July hard rock album chart.
The 12-minute Lamb of God clip was one of four videos uploaded by musicians that topped 1 million views in its first seven days in June, racking up 1 million in all. Additionally, the video received 45,000 reactions, 20,000 shares and 11,000 comments.
